My dear Uncle silver Fox. May you rest in peace and may we meet again
I can not thank Walker Funeral Homes enough as hard as it is to get through and make plans for our loved ones . They guided us through the process with respect and professionalism and left us without worries or the stress through our time of sorrow . Thanks to all the staff and special thank you to Nelson Gee of the Covington home, he welcomed me like family . He's a awesome man with a Heart of gold . I will never forget my experience with Walker Funeral home's God Bless them .
Dear Vicki & Family, There are no words that would be adequate to convey the deep sorrow I share with you at the loss of your beloved Mom. To say she was an enigma is surely not enough. She was a woman that was strong, kind and firm really firm all at the same time. She was a disciplinarian and a nurturer with a measured accuracy so keen that her children became the wonderful adults she was so very proud of. The love, patience and dedication she received from her family is truly a testament to the incredible Woman, Mother, Grandmother and friend she was. I personally feel so very grateful for the many hours I spent on the phone with her where she shared so many stories of her youth and coming of age in Cincinnati. She filled the hollowness I felt when I lost my own Mom. We shared a great commonality that gave her much needed venting yet made me laugh; but best of all allowed me to get even with my best friend.
Bill I am ever grateful for having known you and shared so many wonderful hours being in your world. Though you have journeyed on from this world I pray for your family that your lifetime of love & memories will help to fill the hole left in their hearts. I celebrate your life and thank the Lord that you are now graced with peace dwelling with those you loved and departed too soo. Praying your family finds peace in knowing that st last you are free from the trappings of the illness that took so much from you. Serenity snd Peace are now yours for eternity!
Walker Funeral Home handled the service of both my parents, William Parker (2010) & Dale Parker (2018). Their professionalism, service, compassion, "patience," and quality was exceptional.
Losing a loved one is an emotional challenging experience, in my case both of my parents departed this life unexpectedly. The Walker Funeral Home team provided me guidance through the transition. I would like to specifically thank Dr. Bryan Walker and Dawn. Their gratitude, compassion, experience, will forever be appreciated.
I strongly recommend The Walker Funeral Home to anyone that experience a loss. Very affordable, and I can attest you will not be disappointed.
God Bless! - Best Regards Billy:
William C. Parker Sr.,
The service at Walker was exceptional. I was very happy with the quality and value.
Dad grew up with Herb Walker and our family lived beside the Walkers in Colerain Towship for years. My brother and I played basketball at Northwest with Herb and Chris. Walker Funeral Home performed flawlessly and beautifully. Our expectations were exceeded at every step of the way. My mother was directed and guided carefully by Dawn and my dad looked so good despite the long battle he had with cancer. For my family there is only one funeral home in Cincinnati and that is Walker. I think Walker is a true Angel to the community and when people really need help the Walker family will step up to the challenge and help in anyway. The Walker family doesn't just give lipservice to "being part of the community" but they "Walk the Walk". Walker has done a lot for the communty and that is reflected in the mutual love between Walker and the community. Walker is good for Cincinnati. Thank you Herb, Valerie, Camella for everything you did to help my family. I will never forget your dedication and kindness.
Thank you Please forgive me for not remembering any names, but every face, I’ll never forget. Everyone of you are special, your job has to be a calling, it’s not something someone would choose to do and everyone of you are excellent, from the people in the background who made Bob presentable for everyone, even the youngest. The flower preparation was beautiful, the ushers were so gentle. The people who worked with us on the front end were so patient with us and worked with us at every turn. Everyone went the extra mile for us, like we were important, that in itself will never be forgotten. Thank you everyone.
Thank you so much for your wonderful care for my husband. Walker took such good care of my family. The service was beautiful. Walker treated us so well and took care of me from start to finish. He took care of me and provided me with the best. He personally took me to the cemetery, brought me dinner, and made me know that he cared. Thank you so much. May God bless you all. I know God cares about us people in Cincinnati as now we get the best funeral care and are able to pay for it.
To The Staff of Walker Funeral Home: We wish to express our deep gratitude and our appreciation to each of you for so beautifully handling the visitation and funeral services for our mother. Your help care and concern in our time of need was so meaningful. We could not have asked for a more caring group of people. I can never thank you enough. We were so surprised by the fee and it helped us tremendously since my mother had no insurance. We bought the very best copper casket and you charged us less than the other funeral home wanted to charge us for their least expensive service. My family had always used the big Funeral Home in Cincinnati but I just didn't have the money to spend over $5,000. Your service, cars, casket, and embalming was better than the big funeral home for a fraction of the cost. Who would I call? That is a& "no brainer". I thank you so very much. Thank you.
I want to thank you for everything you did for us. Now, I know it is your job to assist people with such services. However, you were not only extremely professional, buy you were so very compassionate. Losing our 29-year old son is without a doubt, the most difficult thing my husband and I have gone through and continue to go through. It is truly our faith that carries us throughout each moment. I remember how you came to our home with the urn so that we could have that with us at our son’s memorial service. I remember you sharing the close relationship you have with your parents, which paralleled with the relationship we have always had with our son. I wish for you and your family, as well as the others at Walker Funeral Home, a blessed holiday season. Please know that even though Sunday’s memorial service was difficult, we are glad we attended; the message and music were richly received. We also thank you for our son’s ornament, which hangs on our Christmas tree today. Thank you so much for assisting us in keeping our wonderful son’s memory alive. Merry Christmas!
Thank you so much for the wonderful care you provided to my family. We first called the largest funeral home in Cincinnati and they charged us over $900 just for the embalming and transportation. You (Walker Funeral Home) provided the whole service, beautiful casket, and limousine for LESS THAN the large funeral home charged us for the removal and embalming. Thank you for giving us credit for the embalming and only charging us $775 for your service. You are a true blessing to the community and give so much to the community without overcharging us. I can't thank you enough ever. Thank you so very much for taking such great care of us, my mother, and my family. Walker is wonderful and I would not call anyone else. Thank you so very much. I love the Walker funeral directors for not taking advantage of us during our time of need. The other funeral director overcharged me and tried to play it off as if they were doing me a blessing with their service.
For over thirty years here in Cincinnati, I've counseled numerous families at many funeral homes in this area, and I soon discovered there is a difference. When my brother in law passed away last month, I chose Walker Funeral Home to handle the arrangements. For years, I'd seen the the financial burden that often accompanies funerals. As a minister I just didn't have thousands of dollars to spend. Walker made it clear that spending money on a funeral and showing how much we care is unrelated. I was able to have the most beautiful funeral without breaking myself up. Thank you and God bless to each member of your caring staff. I highly recommend Walker to everyone I know.
On behalf of my family, I want to express my thanks to you for helping me through a very difficult time. You never made us feel rushed or uncomfortable and you were very gracious and helpful. My husband would have been very pleased. We truly appreciate the service you provide for our community. Walker's staff are such warm and wonderful people. Thank you so much. Thank you for caring.
